I left Manila yesterday to come over to Singapore and finalize my enrolment in NUS. Everything's been relatively smooth and I'm really grateful that things are falling into place very well. Mac and Carlo (my flatmates) have been very helpful so far and I've been impressed with how efficiently everything is run over here.
Yep, it has sunk in, I'll be here for almost a year and a half (maybe more) and I'll be getting myself deeply entrenched into coursework and life in the city.
The past weeks have been incredibly quick, with so many ups and downs and a lot of blessings coming into place. Things are looking up and I hope to sustain this well into next year. God's always good and a lot of anxiety about school, my family, the boards and my (ehem) reawakened, burgeoning social life... are all held steady by faith and trust.
I'll be getting things done with enrolment on Monday... hope to tie up loose ends with the student pass, etc. Will be back in Manila on Wednesday, and I hope and pray that all my other loose ends over there will get cleared.
