F5 Retirement... =)

Goodbye to the PAF's F5 Freedom Fighters, its just too bad that we're
replacing what was once a premiere fighter jet with a subsonic trainer,
the S211A. If China attacks us from the air, we won't be able to catch
their supersonic planes, unless of course they come in and bomb us with
747s... hehehehe =) heck we don't even have a decent radar net up. So
if they do attack us, we wouldn't have a clue.





I guess thats why millions of college students take ROTC every year, so
that in case they do get through our token air defences, we'd be able
to pound them with fake M1 rifle butts when they actually get to the
ground. Bayuhin daw ba yung kalaban!





Its ironic that an archipelago like ours, has a bigger army than the
navy and air force combined. Instead of worrying about external
threats, our armed forces are preoccupied with internal security
elements.





Just goes to show that we Pinoys are microcosms of our own country, the
only real hindrance to our ability to compete with the world... is
within ourselves.
